Head Chef - Fat Cat Derby

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a great team at The Derby Fat Cat, we offer excellent working conditions and are committed to staff training and personal development. The ideal Head Chef will need to have a similar background and will be expected to have excellent creative flair and a real passion for working with fresh produce.


Customer service excellence is at the heart of what we offer, so you will be a self-motivated team player with passion and enthusiasm for fresh food and experience of producing a high standard of food. You will be responsible to for the day to day operation of the kitchen and oversee the food purchasing, food hygiene (HACCP) and health & safety, the head chef has to be business-minded with a sound financial understanding of GPs.


You will focus on developing junior staff whilst consistently supervising the service and presentation of food in what will be a busy, fast paced and at times highly pressurised environment.
